Blender character model

I made another character as a modeling practice:

This is a female version of ranma saotome from Ranma 1/2. The result is close enough to original, though I couldn't convey normal cuteness of Rumiko's characters.

An important tip: pressing Ctrl+S in blender does not save textures, even if the textures are embedded into blend file. I lost an hour of work because of this and had to redo all textures.

The character was mostly box-modeled. I feel like I've mostly gotten hang of box modeling technique, although it definitely lacks speed of skulpting and 2d sketching. Hair had to be done via edge modeling. Basically... there's no fast way to make hair and apparently the only real way to go about it is to first set up bunch of edges, make sure that shape looks more or less alright from all angles, and then start stitching edges together.
